Cool, subtle photo-manipulation of pictures of New York in these works by artist Peter Funch (that sentence was a mouth-full but I can’t be bothered to re-word it).  Especially like the yawning one.  Also, this is the first post using a new blogging program, so I hope everything works (it didn’t before…)

There is something fantastically morbid about these images by Koen Hauser which make them so interesting and dont-want-to-look-but-want-to-look-esque.  But seriously, soemthing needs to be done about the model's sandals, because they're making my eyeballs hurt.

Some heroin-chic awesomness by Chadwick Tyler.  Check out some of the other shoots, because some of them are Amazing (with a capital A).

Had to give a mention to Vincent & Vincent and the label's great leather jackets.  Based on vintage leather jacket finds at thrift stores, they've slimmed them down, modernised the designs and increased the overall quality (seriously, quality is amazing - especially for the prices they are being sold at), all the while ensuring a quality fit and product.  James is a regular on superfuture and is a top guy himself and I'm definitely going to be getting one soon (I tried on the work jacket today for sizing [the middle picture above] but I'm still scoping out for the bomber [the last picture] - fingers crossed).  The only Melbourne distributor for the moment is FAT and they've got the Sea Jacket and Work/Utility Jacket in limited sizes for really great prices, so definitely check that out.

Also have to apologise for the lack of updates here in recent times, but uni is about to start again so I'll be updating (read: procrastinating) more and more :).

Steven Meisel has always been a great photographer. Some of his editorials are ridiculous-awesome (see State of Emergency - I'll try to post it one day). This one with Sasha P for the Prada Spring '08 campaign is no different. The colours are so bold and fantastic and Sasha looks so goooorgeous it should be criminal. Love it.

P.S: Notice the (almost) proper grammar? I'll try to make it a recurring theme :)
