a couple conversations i had in cbd last night:

random chick: "do you like music?"
me: "sorry, what?"
random chick: "do you like music?"
me: "yeah sure, i guess"
random chick: "oh yeah, me too. what are you into?"
me: "i dunno. weird shit blahblah"
random chick: *shows me cd* "do you wanna listen to this band? they're really cool"
me: "you tell me, what is it?"
random chick: "its my friend's band. like alt-rock. do you like alt-rock?" *makes me listen to cd in cd player and broken headphones*
*sounds like shit*
me: "yea cool, i'll keep them in mind..." *walk away*

random old guy: "i love your jeans!"
me: "hah, thanks"
random old guy: "i love ALL GUYS WHO WEAR JEANS LIKE YOURS! SKINNY!"
random old guy: "AHAH!" *shimmies himself through flinders st station gates with some random bywalker*
me: "wtf"

oh, and also had a quick chat with gareth moody, ex tsubi designer/current chronicles of never designer. guy is really nice and much more underspoken than i would have anticipated...
